Ingenux builds education application for American Lung Association

The American Lung Association contracted Ingenux to develop a dynamic flash website that allows users to gain perspective on potentially dangerous radon exposure in homes and the ideal location to place detectors.

Recently completed, the visually stimulating multi-dimensional flash website gives visitors the opportunity to navigate through all rooms of a multi-dimensional house. In every room, heart icons are positioned in locations that the American Lung Association recommends for checking radon levels in the home. Clicking on a heart reveals information about why this location within the home is preferable for placing a radon detector.

Radon is a radioactive gas that is impossible to see, smell or taste and is found at high levels in every state in America. Over 2,000 people fed by the ‘Everything but the Turkey’ food drive

In just two short weeks Ingenux collected over 650 pounds of food, as well as $ 250 in cash for donation, to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Ingenux set a modest goal of 250 items to help feed families during the Thanksgiving holiday; this goal was shattered by the collection of three times that amount.

“It has been really exciting to see everyone eager to participate in the Ingenux Food Drive and donate to those who are less fortunate.” said Brandy Semore, production director for Ingenux.

“I’m dumbfounded by the work you all have accomplished: this is a great job!” said Jack Miller from Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, about the success of the Ingenux food drive. “You all should pat yourselves on the back.” Food and donations were collected from Lee’s Crossing, Le Cour and Le Chene office parks from November 10-21. The combined efforts of participants resulted in an astounding 2,300 people being fed.

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is a private, 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that acts as a link through which the food industry and community may donate food and other goods. The products are then distributed to nearly 700 schools and charitable feeding programs in 53 central and western Oklahoma counties. In the last fiscal year, the Food Bank distributed nearly 25 million pounds of food and product to help the charitable community effectively feed people in need. Since its inception in 1980, the Food Bank has distributed 293 million pounds of food to feed Oklahoma’s hungry.
